REPORTS

The following special reports were compiled after three years of my independent research and involvement with the online market research industry. They were written to expose frauds and prevent consumers like you from getting ripped off or underpaid for your input. These special reports may be reprinted or reposted to the web for FREE as long as the entire article is left intact (including the signature/URL at the end).

Spotlight: Survey Savvy
by Anthony Serrano, August 1, 2006
Survey Savvy was one of the first paid surve panels I posted on this site for a reason: it's one of the highest-paying programs available, and it's free to join. In this paper, I reveal a few techniques for getting the most (money) out of Survey Savvy.
1) Completing Surveys - This may sound obvious, but you make money directly through Survey Savvy by completing their online surveys. To simplify the process, I suggest that you download the Mozilla Firefox browser for free (which you can do at my website), if you haven't already. Mozilla is more secure than Internet Explorer, which means that your surveys are more likely to connect and continue uninterrupted. Secondly, register for all of the paid survey panels using a free e-mail account like Hotmail or G-Mail, making a separate folder for all your survey invitations so that you only have to check one address for them.
2) Focus Groups - Survey Savvy holds online focus groups from time to time (and, rarely, live focus groups) which pay a lot more than the typical online surveys. I took an online focus group recently regarding a soft drink's packaging and earned $30 for 1.5 hours of slow-paced, "chat" style Q&A. If you get invited to a focus group, try your best to make it there 5-10 minutes early. You won't receive many focus group invitations, so try your best to make time for the focus groups unless you have something more profitable to do.
3) Referrals - You make money indirectly through Survey Savvy by enlisting new panelists. The more panelists they have, the more they can charge a corporation for an online survey since the data will be more representative of the general population. Survey Savvy pays you $2 for each survey that one of your direct referrals completes and $1 for each survey that one of your indirect referrals completes. As such, you should approach your most popular friends when recruiting new panelists, especially if they have friends that you don't know and, thus, can't approach yourself. Your direct referral may result in hundreds of indirect referrals. Sure, your direct referral can make more money from his/her friends (since they'll be direct referrals, not indirect ones), but he/she will do all the recruiting work--you just had to recruit one person.
Survey Savvy is one of the most trusted online survey panels around because of its generous referral system and frequent survey invitations. If you take advantage of their program, you can start making money online today. Join Survey Savvy to be one of the many panelists earning cash for giving their opinions.
