You probably get spam in your inbox every day. Receiving paid e-mails will make opening your inbox much more pleasant. Paid e-mails work quite simply: you receive an e-mail with a static picture advertisement, and after clicking a link to verify that you viewed the ad, your account is credited by the paid e-mail company. It takes 8 seconds or so to do this. Sure, you get paid less than a buck for each e-mail, but, again, it takes 8 seconds to "read" the e-mail, something you can do several times a day!
The real beauty of paid e-mail companies lies in the referral system. Some of the companies listed here pay you $5 whenever someone you know signs up with them to view e-mail ads. Extrapolate that over hundreds of friends (or however many friends you have), and you see just how easy it is to rack up earnings.
You'll notice that there are very few programs listed, but when you see my list of paid e-mail scams, you'll understand why.
How to Read Paid E-Mails
- To ensure receipt of every paid e-mail, open a free e-mail account or use an existing e-mail account that is far from reaching storage capacity.

- Sign up with all of the paid e-mail programs on the following list (updated monthly) and open every e-mail they send you using .
- Give your referral link to as many people possible: friends, coworkers, relatives, acquaintances, etc. Make business cards, put up fliers, and send e-mails (but not spam). You won't just get paid for reading paid e-mails, but for each sign up and/or for each paid e-mail your referrals read.

Fully Plugged is like Inbox Dollars in that you get paid to read e-mails, sign up for offers (which you should just sign up for and then cancel right before the deadline), and refer friends. Plus, you get $5 just for joining (but don't try and sign up repeatedly, as they verify sign-ups).
